Job Title: SQL, Datasphere & SAC Sr Developer Location: Pune Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PL-SQL Developer to join our dynamic Process Mining & Analytics DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL development, and GCP BigQuery ETL processes. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development skills on Analytical story building would be an added advantage. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, analytics, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: SQL Development: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Ensure data integrity and performance optimization of SQL databases. Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for database solutions. System Design: Design database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and other database objects. Develop data models and database architecture to support business needs. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of database systems. Development: Implement database solutions based on design specifications. Write efficient and maintainable SQL code. Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources. Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and functionality of SQL code. Collaborate with QA teams to support integration and system testing. Identify and fix defects in a timely manner. Deployment: Prepare database scripts and deployment packages. Coordinate with DevOps and IT teams to deploy database changes to production environments. Ensure smooth and error-free deployment of database updates. Maintenance and Support: Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for database systems. Implement database security measures and backup/recovery procedures. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, processes, and procedures. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. GCP BigQuery ETL: Develop and manage ETL processes using Google Cloud Platform’s BigQuery. Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large datasets. Optimize BigQuery performance and cost-efficiency. SAC Development: Design and develop dashboards and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud. Integrate SAC with various data sources to provide comprehensive analytics solutions. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of SAC reports and visualizations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in SQL development. Proven experience with GCP BigQuery and ETL processes. Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development would be preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other cloud platforms and data analytics tools. Good knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, Agile processes.
